The CAIMAN brand was founded in France in 2004. At that time, Subaru (Japan) decided to enter the market for engines used in garden and outdoor power equipment. This initiative received strong support from the French company Pubert, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of compact soil cultivation equipment. The CAIMAN brand was founded in France in 2004. At that time, Subaru (Japan) decided to enter the market for engines used in garden and outdoor power equipment. This initiative received strong support from the French company Pubert, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of compact soil cultivation equipment. As a result, advanced French engineering was combined with cutting-edge Japanese engines to create a new generation of cultivators, walk-behind tractors, mowers, snow blowers, generators, motor pumps and other equipment, which was introduced to the market under the CAIMAN brand.

In the Russian Federation, CAIMAN equipment has been promoted by the brand owner, Unisaw Group, Russia’s first service-oriented company specializing in garden and landscaping equipment, operating in the market since 1993. Since the launch of the brand, the development of the CAIMAN product range has followed the best-in-class quality principle: each product category is represented by leading high-tech manufacturers from Europe and Japan.

Today, CAIMAN products are manufactured at 16 major production facilities with long-established manufacturing traditions, located in Japan, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Russia and several other European countries. In France, the birthplace of the brand, production includes cultivators and walk-behind tractors, high-grass mowers, aerators and scarifiers, wood chippers, snow blowers, professional trimmer line for brush cutters, generators and motor pumps. In Russia, production focuses on selected models of cultivators and walk-behind tractors. Italy manufactures PTO-driven walk-behind tractors, robotic lawn mowers, sprayers and concrete mixers; the United Kingdom produces cylinder lawn mowers; the Czech Republic manufactures lawn-mowing machines; Germany produces sweepers; and Japan manufactures brush cutters, sprayers, blowers, professional trimmer attachments and cutting blades for brush cutters, motor pumps and heaters.

All CAIMAN manufacturing facilities maintain exceptionally high standards of quality, efficiency and environmental responsibility.
