Agroholding is a member of a number of Russian and international industry associations. The company employs over 1000 people.
Special attention is paid to the breeding work. The breeding program is based on 18 main vegetable crops and phlox. 31 breeder, including doctors of agricultural sciences, candidates and graduate students are taking part in the creation of new varieties and hybrids. More than 650 varieties and hybrids of Agroholding selection are registered in the state register of selection achievements.
The company's specialists are aware of the social importance of agribusiness and understand that with the help of breeding can seriously affect human health and a duration of his life. One of the leading departments of the holding company is a Plant nursery POISK, which was created in 2001. The nursery specializes in production of landing material for wholesale and includes 4 directions:
• bulbous and perennial herbaceous plants in the packaging, about 3000 varieties of plants for autumn and spring planting;
• fruit and ornamental plants in the package: more than 2400 varieties;
• container plants: more than 2500 varieties;
• and also more than 100 varieties of seedling of garden strawberry
Each year on the basis of the Nursery produces dozens of millions of ornamental and fruit plants, the total range which includes over 8000 names. It is the widest choice of qualitative planting material in the Russian Federation. All the plants represented in Nursery have been carefully selected. A large part of the containerised plant has been acclimatized in the conditions of Central Russia.
Annually the range is replenished with the most demanded and fashionable novelties of "green" industry.
It is worth noting the high quality of products of the Nursery POISK, which is provided by a powerful material and technical base of the agroholding and, of course, professionalism of its employees.
On the territory of the Nursery is located a show garden Landscape bureau Gardier. The show garden has several themed areas. Here are clearly represented many species of plants, their compatibility in the landscape. This unique demonstration site helps customers to see ready-made solutions and to choose plants to create their own beautiful gardens.
Every year, the landscape bureau won prizes at the Russian exhibitions industry. Therefore, even the most experienced visitors admire the compositions created in the show garden.
