The Joint-Stock Company “Veсtor-BiAlgam” is a biotechnological company specialized in production of pharmaceutical immunobiological preparations and probiotic products.
The enterprise was established more than 15 years ago on the basis of the State Research Centre for Biotechnology and Virology “Veсtor” located in the naukograd (science town) of Koltsovo being an innovative territorial cluster of biopharmaceutical technologies in the Novosibirsk Region.

The enterprise was established more than 15 years ago on the basis of the State Research Centre for Biotechnology and Virology “Veсtor” located in the naukograd (science town) of Koltsovo being an innovative territorial cluster of biopharmaceutical technologies in the Novosibirsk Region.
Since the very foundation of the enterprise it has been headed by Leonid G. Nikulin, the expert with over twenty-year experience of successful administrative activity in the field of introduction of biotechnological innovations. From the first days of the enterprise’s activity he has paid special attention to new research and development projects being of invaluable importance for keeping human health.
Today the company works in two basic areas: development and production of vaccines, and also development and manufacture of probiotic products.
“Veсtor-BiAlgam”, one of the leading enterprises in the field of production of pharmaceutical immunobiological preparations, is the only Russian manufacturer of hepatitis A vaccine being not inferior in efficiency to leading world analogues. The vaccine does not contain antibiotics and preservatives. Production of the “ALGAVAC® M” hepatitis A vaccine conforms to the International GMP Standard and to ISO as well.
The second key area of the company’s activity is production of probiotic preparations and products: biologically active supplements with probiotic microorganisms to normalize microflora of the gastrointestinal tract at dysbacterioses of different genesis; lysates of probiotic microorganisms; products of functional nutrition, and also technologies and starter cultures for dairy industry. To produce BAFSs, starter cultures and fermented milk products the company uses only its own products and technologies without involvement of domestic or foreign companies; it has its own collection of strains of bifid, lactic and propionic acid bacteria. The production of BAFSs has been certificated as that meeting the requirements of the HACCP system.
A new prospective area of the company’s activity has become creation of the site for dispensing of injectable drugs according to the GMP requirements. At the site it is possible to prepare solutions for injections of immunobiological preparations and their further dispensing in ampoules, vials or dose syringes, i.e. finished forms of medicinal and veterinary agents used for both medical practice and prevention.
