GEROPHARM is one of the leaders in the field of biotechnology products in particular in development and production of recombinant human insulin and insulin analogues in Russia. The company is engaged in development and production of high-quality Russian innovative medicines, investing in technological development and setting up of a modern pharmaceutical infrastructure.
GEROPHARM develops and produces innovative drugs for treatment of socially significant diseases as well as some generics that have priority in terms of import substitution. Expertise lies mainly within the areas of neurology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, gynecology.
GEROPHARM plans to produce other novel anti-diabetic products as well as drugs for the treatment of other socially relevant diseases. One of the priorities is development of insulin analogues, which is in line with the goal to strengthen the existing portfolio with advanced products.
The plant capacity of GEROPHARM, certified according to the international quality standards of GMP, is enough to cover 30 % of insulin demand of the Russian Federation. In the near future, after the factory in Pushkin is opened, the company will be able to cover Russia’s demand in insulin and to carry out the plans for the export.
