Moscow City University is one of thе TOP-3 Russian universities in the field of pedagogy. The University was founded on March 1st 1995. It is Russia's first pedagogical higher educational institution initially created as a university. Our main goal is to train highly qualified employees for schools and the social sphere of the city of Moscow. Today the University comprises 12 educational and one research institute, Samara branch, a school of water sports and a comprehensive school.

It has allowed us to provide preschool institutions, elementary and high schools with professional personnel and to hasten the development of the capital’s educational system.
