The foundation of Art Age was laid by late Mr. Ramswaroop Vijaivargia in in the early 1970’s.He started his journey as an art collector and selling vintage dhurries. At that time the demand for vintage dhurry was very high.but it was difficult to fulfill as there was no more dhurries available in vintage style.Later in 1980’s when his son Mr. Durgesh Vijaivargia took over the business he met this demand by curating a new concept called ‘Punja Dhurrie ’which is essentially handcrafted with a certain technique & skill in order to give it a Vintage look.

into Rugs/ Dhurries,Cushion Covers, Throws, Furniture etc. Today, Art Age Pvt Ltd
is considered as one of India’s leading home textile and rug manufacturer. It
