For more than 15 years, ComTrans has been a member of Media Glob Group of Companies (ID KT LLC) and was initially positioned as an edition about trucks, buses and special vehicles. In addition to the development of traditional categories over the years, new topics have appeared in it, such as ComTrans - Run/Trip and Motorsport, and the rubric "Bus" has in fact become a kind of magazine inside the magazine. Without false modesty, we note that over time ComTrans has become one of the leading publications on auto transport topics. It's no accident that during the existence of the "Automobile Journalist of the Year" award, our magazine won the "Best Transport Edition" category for six consecutive years, and its editor-in-chief Alexander Solntsev was twice acknowledged as "The Best Automotive Transport Journalist in Russia".

2001, the editor-in-chief of the magazine "ComTrans" Alexander Solntsev came up with the idea of organizing the first of its kind in our country in the specialized contest "The Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year in Russia" and since has been the permanent chairman of his jury. The competition is an annual non-profit event which goal is to identify the best commercial vehicle in Russia in the following nominations: "Truck of the Year", "Van / Low Voltage Year", "Bus of the Year", "Special prize" and "The perspective of the year".

Distribution of the magazine is the entire territory of the Russian Federation, more than 250 cities. The subscriber base, annually updated and supplemented, is about 15 000 mail addresses. Free address dispatch to the top-management and leading experts of the automotive transportation organizations, car dealers, transport departments of large trading companies, large car-care centers. The magazine is distributed on its own subscriber base, and is also available on the Internet on the website of the publication with the possibility to download each number in pdf format.

The magazine "ComTrans" takes an active part in exhibitions, both in Russia and abroad: COMTRANS / Moscow and IAA / Hanover, CTT / Moscow and Busworld / Belgium.

2015, the magazine changed the owner: now the owner of the publication is Alexander Solntsev. The magazine is published by LLC KT Publishing (Certificate of Registration of Mass Media PI No. FS77 - 63658 of 10.11.2015). The backbone of the collective of ComTrans magazine has been unchanged for more than 10 years: Alexei Samoilov is a leading columnist, Nikolai Markov is the correspondent of the publication in the Central Federal District, Daria Antsiferova is responsible for advertising and promotion issues.

ComTrans is the main information partner of ITEMF Expo JSC, the new international exhibition operator created in equal parts by the largest international exhibition companies Messe Frankfurt and the ITE Group of companies. The ITEMF Expo portfolio includes the exhibitions "MIMS Automechanika Moscow", "COMTRANS" and "Busworld Russia powered by Autotrans". In addition, in 2015, the magazine "ComTrans" became an information partner of the legendary team "KAMAZ-master", a multiple winner and prize-winner of international rally-raids, including the famous Dakar.
